How It Happened
On a drizzly afternoon at the Ravens Athletic Complex the host Rosemont and visiting Centenary Cyclones were scoreless until the 43rd minute, when the Cyclones Richy Castro dribbled the ball into the 18 yard box and stashed it under the keeper for a 1-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Centenary would add on to their lead when Daniel Lamanna chipped one over the goalie from 15 yards out off the left side and into the net to make it 2-0. The Ravens gained some much-needed energy and momentum, when Sean Borden put one into the cage off of a throw-in by Malcolm Mitchell making the score 2-1 with 11 minutes left. The turning point of the contest came in the 81st minute when a controversial non-offside call led to the Cyclones Josh White taking a pass from Castro beyond the defense and tucking it home for a 3-1 edge. Rosemont then battled back to get to within one at 3-2 as Mitchell this time found the net, stuffing it past keeper Devon Warne. For the final 4 plus minutes the Ravens had some possession, but never could find the equalizing goal.
