How It Happened
  • The two teams played a tense first half, with neither team gaining an edge of more than four points for the first 18 minutes of the half. After the third tie of the game and 16 lead changes, Cabrini would change the lead for the 17th time and went on a late 8-0 run near the end of the half to grab a 40-32 lead, and would head into halftime with a 40-34 advantage.
  • The Ravens would open the second half with a Marcus Thomas layup and a trey from Khai Roberts. Rosemont would make it 6-0 to start the half after a Kyle Lafferty free throw would tie the game for the 4th time, 40-40 with 17:58 remaining in the game. A three-point play by Thomas would put the home side back in front, 43-42 and a Clayton Wolfe layup would again answer a Cabrini bucket to keep the Ravens ahead by a beak, 45-44 with 16:16 left.
  • Alex Epps-Ortiz would score on a layup to tie the game for the 6th time, but Cabrini would answer back with a decisive 16-1 advantage over the next 3:23 to give the Cavs the cushion they would need to hold off Rosemont for the remainder of the contest.
