How It Happened
Game 1

Rosemont pitcher Charlie Fillmore had a strong outing, but she was out-dueled by Immaculata's Caitlin Brasier, who won the game for the visiting Mighty Macs shutting out the Ravens with 10 strikeouts and one walk over seven innings.

Immaculata would post a run in the first and two more in the third inning, and then scored another in the fifth and two more in the sixth to claim the 6-0 win.

Rosemont's hits came from Charlie Fillmore and Brianna Macauley

Fillmore went the distance, giving up four earned runs with two strikeouts.

Game 2
Â
The Mighty Macs started the nightcap with bats-a-blazing, scoring four runs in the first inning. The Ravens responded with a run in the bottom of the inning when Brianna Macauley singled to center to score Fillmore to make the score 4-1.

Unfortunately for the home side, Immaculata continued to add runs on the board, with a total of eight runs in the 3rd through 5th innings.

The Ravens ended the night by scratching home a run in the bottom of the 5th when Dani Lelie trotted home on a two-out  Immaculata error.
Immaculata's Jessica Bormann went the five innings for the win, giving up an earned run and three hits, striking out six.

Ravens' Top Performers
·        Charlie Fillmore hit 2-for-6, scoring a run. She also had a good outing in the circle in game number one, keeping the Ravens in the contest.
·        Brianna Macauley also went 2-for-6 at the plate with an RBI.
For the Mighty Macs
·        Annemarie Bartow was a tough out, going 7-for-8 at the plate, scoring three runs.
·        Melissa Ejk went 4-for-8, scoring three runs and knocking in two.
·        Caitlin Brasier was effective pitching in game one, shutting out the Ravens over seven innings with 10 strikeouts.
·        Jessica Bormann pitched the five innings in game two, giving up only one earned run and striking out six.
