The Gators scratched back two runs in the 3rd inning, which ended with the Ravens ahead, 5-2. Rosemont would put another run on the board in the bottom of the 4th when Fillmore singled to right center to score Lelie, to take a 6-2 lead.

In the decisive 5th inning, Notre Dame started out scoring a pair to sneak back to within 6-4, but the Ravens answered by putting a big six runs on the board in the bottom of the 5th to end the game in the 5th inning. The first of those six runs came from a bases loaded walk drawn by Darby O'Rourke. Dani Lelie would single to right to score Lora Zubrzycki and Kaitlin Fracchiolla to make the score 11-4. The final run came thanks to an RBI single to center from Macauley, and a Notre Dame error.

Nikiki Maurer was solid in the circle, pitching 4 innings, giving up six hits with four strikeouts and no walks. Both runs scored against Maurer were unearned.

The Ravens got the jump on the Gators in the 2nd game also. After Charlie Fillmore shut down Notre Dame in the first, Brianna Macauley doubled to right to score Bailey Schulte. Macauley would come around later in the inning on a Gator error to give the Ravens a 2-0 lead.

After Notre Dame scored in the top of the 3rd, the Ravens were undeterred, scoring a couple for themselves in their half of the inning when Fillmore scored on a Notre Dame error and Macauley scored on a Maggie Miller groundout to give the Ravens a 4-1 advantage after three innings.

Rosemont added four more runs in the 4th inning to take an 8-1 lead. The runs in the inning came off a Dani Lelie single to score Zubrzycki, followed by a score from third base from Maria Athanasiadis on a dropped infield fly. Finally, a wild pitch by the Gators enabled Dani Lelie and Bailey Schulte to score.

Rosemont scored their ninth and final run in the bottom of the 5th when Lelie singled up the middle to score Atanasiadis.
