How It Happened
Looking at the statistics, Rosemont out-shot Marywood tonight, but Marywood's shots were more on-target and found the goal more often than the Ravens shots, as the visiting Pacers defeated Rosemont, 10-1 on the Ravens Athletic Complex turf.
After the first quarter the Ravens trailed 3-0, with a comeback not out of the question. Even at the end of the half, the Ravens trailed 5-0, not an insurmountable deficit in a game where goals can rain quickly. As the first half unfolded, one couldn't help but feel that although Marywood was scoring and shutting out the Ravens, the goals were clearly challenged by the Ravens, seemingly limiting the damage.
At the end of the 3rd quarter, as 15 more minutes elapsed, they were now trailing 6-0. On many days, a six-goal deficit is possible, but tonight, when the goals were hard to come by, a comeback was possible, but not probable.
Zach Bowe struck for Rosemont's first and only goal of the game with 12:23 left in the game, making the score 6-1, and keeping the Raven's faint hopes alive. Those hopes were dashed when Marywood would regain a six-goal lead 1:40 later to make the score 7-1. The Pacers would add three more goals to their tally to make the final score 10-1 in favor of the Pacers.

· Zach Bowe continued his dominance in the faceoff circle, winning 11 of 13. He also scored Rosemont's goal and was credited with 10 ground balls.
· Josh Chiappetta had four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
For the Pacers
· Five different players scored two goals, led by Austin Maylor, who added three assists for five points.
· Cody Bachmann scored twice with an assist (3 points)
· Jake Drexl scored once with two assists (3 points)
· Keeper Rick Blaine stopped eight of nine Rosemont shots on goal.
