How It Happened

Rosemont wasted little time getting on the scoreboard on Wednesday afternoon, scoring only 20 seconds into their match with Delaware Valley, as Kaushik Dhanyamraju took an outlet pass from Luis Castillo and put it behind Aggies keeper Connor Hedgepeth for an early 1-0 lead. The Ravens would quickly add on to the lead when Emre Kasik whipped a 25 yard free kick into the left corner beyond Hedgepeth to increase the lead to 2-0. From there the two teams would trade chances with Delaware Valley pulling one back at the 26:59 mark when Nick Miller scored to make it 2-1 at the half.

The Aggies would carry most of the play in the second half, outshooting the Ravens 9-5. Delaware Valley would find an equalizer at the 74:42 mark on a goal from Patrick McCarthy. From that point on the two sides would play out the half, ending at 2-2.

In the two overtime periods neither team could break through, and the match ended tied at 2-2.
