Four Goals In Each Half Puts Ravens In Big Hole

How It Happened

Coming off of a 2-2 tie on Wednesday afternoon at Delaware Valley the Ravens were looking to continue their good form of play. Unfortunately for Rosemont that was not going to be the case on this afternoon. As Hood started the scoring in the 6th minute when Juliano Pillari took a cross from Clay Smith and stuck it into the net. The Blazers would then add two more goals by Drew Demich and Colin Viti in the 13th and 34th minutes to take a 3-0 lead. The Ravens would then pull one back as a nice solo effort by Sean Borden would be rewarded to make it 3-1. That score line did not last long as 7 minutes later as Viti added his second of the day and Hood would take a 4-1 lead to half.

The second half for Rosemont did not get much better. As the Blazers added four more in the half including a Ravens own goal to leave the RAC with a decisive 8-1 victory.

  • Drew Demich led the Blazers with five shots (two on goal), a goal and an assist.
  • Colin Viti scored twice on four shots (three on target) and an assist.
  • Anthony Maglino had four shots as well with all on goal and scored once.
  • Keepers Danny Castillo and Christian Reyes each saw time and combine for one save.
