Ravens Shut Down by SUNY Geneseo

How It Happened
The Ravens had difficulty getting traction in today's game against the Knights of SUNY Geneseo, in a game hosted by Swarthmore College. Geneseo's Ethan Gunty tapped home a pass from the right corner in the 9th minute to take the 1-0 lead. The Knights scored twice more to take control of the game, 3-0 in the first half. The second goal was from Matt D'Amico in the 18th minute and then by Walter Savidis in the 37th minute.
 
The Ravens worked hard to keep the deficit where it was, but Geneseo finally broke through the Rosemont defense in the 82nd and 90th minutes to end the game ahead 5-0.
 
Ravens' Top Performers For the Knights
  • Matt D'Amico led Geneseo with seven shots, six on frame. He found the net once and also had an assist.
  • Bryan Wager had a goal on one shot and an assist.
  • Ethan Gunty, Evan Orlando, and Walter Savidis each scored one goal today.
  • Assists were turned in by Alex Clar, Mike Skrzypczyk and Austin DeRidder.
  • Dillon Medd earned the shutout win, stopping one Rosemont shot on goal.
