Ravens Stymied By Diplomats

The Basics

How It Happened
Franklin and Marshall and Rosemont started out Saturday afternoon feeling each other out. Playing to a scoreless draw over half way into the 1st half.  The Diplomats would then find the net at the 28:29 mark on an 18 yard strike from Reanna Leoni into the left side of the goal. Franklin and Marshall would then score on the final kick of the 1st half off a corner kick from Sarah Mischianti that found the feet of Emily O'Hara who slid the ball under Ravens goalkeeper, Jenna Kaiser. 
 
The Diplomats would then add three more goals in the 2nd half to close out the win. 

Ravens' Top Performers
  • Kaiser paced Rosemont between the pipes turning away another 8 shots on goal.
  • Madeline Polino would add the only shot of the day for the Ravens.
For the Diplomats
  • Leoni led the way for Franklin and Marshall recording 10 shots (3 on target), and 2 goals.
  • Kate Kerr added 6 shots (4 on target), and 2 goals.
  • O'Hara also had 4 shots with all on target and a goal.
  • Shannon Johnson-Finn earned the shut out win.
