How It Happened

The Ravens scored early and often en route to a convincing 22-1 victory over the Keystone College Giants in CSAC play this afternoon at the RAC. With the win, Rosemont improves to 4-10 (1-4 CSAC), while Keystone falls to 1-10 and remains winless in the conference at 0-5.

Rosemont opened the scoring 1:56 into the game when Anthony Bottoms hit the net to make it 1-0. From there the Ravens went on a tear scoring 22 in a row (7 in the 1^st, 7 in the 2^nd, 6 in the 3^rd and 2 in the 4^th). Keystone got their lone marker with 2:15 to play when Alec Lloyd took a pass from Caleb Strope and stuck it behind keeper Cassius Christie. When the final horn sounded, it was the Ravens walking away 22-1 winners.

Ravens' Top Performers

Ben Koszelak led the way with five goals on seven shots and grabbing two ground balls.
Purnell Summers and Anthony Bottoms each scored four times, combined for eighteen shots and seven ground balls.
The pair of Malik Slye and Tyler Ferrara added four goals (two each), four assists and five ground balls.
Zach Bowe hit the net once, picked up six ground balls and went 12-15 at the faceoff X.
Dan Bowden buried one, dished out an assist, scooped up a team-high eight ground balls and was 7-11 at the X.
Kiefer Paul, Maxwell Frazier and Brandon Krausse chipped in a goal each. For Paul it was his first as a Raven.
Cassius Christie made five saves in the win.

For the Giants

Alec Lloyd had the lone goal on four shots.
Matthew Harris picked up a team-high five ground balls.
Richard DeMarchis grabbed one ground ball, while going 4-20 at the X.
Jordan Smith scooped up four ground balls and went 3-5 in the faceoff.
Nicholas Vazquez made fourteen saves in the loss.
