LANGHORNE, Pa. -
Timothy Reiners scored his fourth goal of the season in the first half, but it wasn't enough to keep Rosemont's Men's Soccer team from falling by a 3-1 score to Cairn on Saturday in a Colonial States Athletic Conference road.
Reiners- who had the fourth hat trick in Ravens history during a home win over Bryn Athyn on Sept. 2-, scored on an assist from
Josh Dawicki to bring the Ravens back within a goal at 2-1 in the 34th minute. He also two of the Ravens four shots on goal for the afternoon, while
Christian Rafter and
Will Boehmer added a shot on goal each.Â
Grant Gonzalez made eight saves in net for the Ravens on Saturday. Gonzalez's .752 save percentage currently ranks fourth among CSACÂ goalkeepers.Â
Brendan Keller scored two goals- including the insurance goal in the 85th minute for the Highlanders, who improved to 10-3-1 overall and 4-0 within the CSAC. Tyler Smith had the other goal on the afternoon for the Highlanders.
The Ravens return home to the Athletic Complex on Wednesday night for a CSACÂ contest against Keystone College. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
