By the time that the Rosemont women's volleyball team really got going on Thursday night, they were in a hole that they couldn't fully dig out of.
The Ravens finished strong to make a game of it, but it wasn't enough to down Bryn Athyn in falling by a 3-1 margin in a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest at O'Neill Gymnasium at the Holy Child School.
The Lions won by margins of 25-14, 25-15, 19-25 and 25-22.
Rosemont really struggled early on with unforced errors, having trouble with receiving the serves from Bryn Athyn's side of the net. In the third set, however, the Ravens played much better and with more purpose. They also played a strong fourth set to get back within 23-21, but fell a little short at the end.
Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter had 12 kills and 12 digs on the evening. Â
Holly Brady had 11 kills and 3 aces on the night.
Rosemont (4-12, 0-2 CSAC) heads to Cairn on Saturday to continue its CSACÂ schedule with a game against the Highlanders.
