Game Recap: Men's Soccer | | Kevin Cooney

Another frustrating afternoon as Ravens fall to Centenary

The scoreless streak ended. The winless streak, unfortunately, did not.
Rosemont's men's soccer team continues to have trouble breaking back into the win column, falling to Centenary by a 3-1 margin on Saturday in a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest in Central New Jersey.
The Ravens have now lost five in a row and are 1-2 within the CSAC. And like other ones, Rosemont still had a chance even with an fofense that continues to struggle to get going.
When Josh Dawicki scored early in the second half to bring the Ravens back within 2-1, it broke a 405 minute scoreless streak dating back to a September 21 win against Bryn Athyn. But it also kept Rosemont in shouting distance- just a strike away from the equalizer.
But Jared Miele's shot off a scramble in front gave the Cyclones (5-6, 2-0 CSAC) a two goal cushion again.
Eric Nugent and Besnik Hadzovic scored the first two goals for Centenary on the day.
Grant Gonzalez made 11 saves on the afternoon for Rosemont, who will play on Monday night in a non-conference game at home against the College of Staten Island.
