Second half surge lifts Lafayette over Rosemont

Box Score EASTON  - After shooting well in the first half to maintain contact with Lafayette on Wednesday night, Rosemont's shots didn't fall in the second as the Ravens dropped a 95-54 contest to the Leopards in their first official game against a Division I team in school history. 

TURNING POINT:
Rosemont actually carried a lead three separate times in the first half and trailed by 13 (46-33) at halftime despite the fact they shot a respectable 51.9 percent shooting from the floor by the Ravens. However, the Leopards would respond with a 49 point second half with the Ravens shooting 7-for-37 from the floor in the second half. 

FROM THE BOXSCORE:
- Basil Thompson had a team high 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting.

- Jalil Myers had a team high 13 rebounds and picked up two blocks along the way to go with his seven points.

- Jacob Simonson had nine points coming off the Ravens bench on Wednesday night. 

- Alex Petrie had 17 points for the Leopards to lead the way on Wednesday night. 
UP NEXT:

After an exhbition game against Hofstra on Saturday, the Ravens will take the Christmas holiday break for a few days. They will resume action at the Albright Tournament on Dec. 28 and 29 in Reading.
