Ravens fall to Hofstra

Box Score HEMPSTEAD, NY - Basil Thompson scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds on the afternoon as Rosemont fell to Division I Hofstra by an 107-54 score Saturday in an exhibition game at the David S. Mack Sports and Entertainment Complex.

The game will count towards the Pride's season stats, but Rosemont will use the game as its one exhibition against a Division I team that is allowed for Division III teams according to NCAA rules. It will not count as a game in the stats for the Ravens.

Hofstra had a 17-0 run early in the first half to effectively put the game away.

Alex Epps-Ortiz scored nine points while Jalil Myers and Marlon Sharpton each added eight points along the way.

The Ravens are now off for the Christmas holiday before returning to action next weekend at the Albright Tournament, which starts next Saturday against the host school at 2 p.m.
