ROSEMONT - The final home game for 2018 for the Rosemont women's basketball team certainly sent a message of excitement that will hold over until New Year's.
The Ravens dominant attack rolled on Wednesday night, jumping out to a big early lead and never looking back during a 73-34 rout of Cedar Crest in a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest at Alumnae Hall.
That's three straight wins for Rosemont, who remained perfect within the CSACÂ with an average margin of victory so far of 28.6 points in three league contest. On this night, it was about a resounding a team effort as you could get- Rosemont only had one player in double figures-
Shirle Brown had 11 points- but saw 10 different players score on the night to help carrying the scoring load.
TURNING POINT:
It was the first quarter, which saw Rosemont take advantage of several Falcons turnovers to jump out to a 21-6 lead at the end of the first ten minutes. After that point, the Ravens were never really threatened again, stretching the lead as wide as 44 points midway through the fourth quarter.Â

Ayanna Thompson had seven points, but collected six assists on the night. Those six assists marked the third time this season that she finished with six assists (11/17 vs. Randolph and 12/1 at Wilson.)

Ashley Murray had nine points with eight rebounds on the evening. Murray has grabbed eight or more rebounds in five of Rosemont's seven games this season.

Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter had eight points and seven rebounds on the night as well.

Allison Berdel had a season high seven points coming off the Ravens bench.
- Wednesday night was the second time this season that Rosemont saw 10 players score a point. The Ravens bench outscored the Falcons bench by a 29-14 margin.
UP NEXT:
A well deserved break is up next for Rosemont, who will not play another contest until the Juniata Tournament on Dec. 21-22. They will also travel to Lycoming over the holiday break for a tournament on Dec. 29-30 before returning to Alumnae Hall on January 3 to face Neumann. The Ravens won't play another league game until Jan. 8 against Bryn Athyn at home- a stretch that will see them play their final 13 games of the year against CSAC opponents.Â
