The Rosemont women's soccer team came away on the wrong side of today's opening Colonial States Athletic Conference contest.  Keystone College scored two goals late in the second half to break open a 2-2 tie and post a 4-2 victory over the Ravens Saturday at the Rosemont Athletic Complex. The Ravens fell to 1-6 overall. It was the Giants first win of the year and the first win for new head coach Samantha Patterson after six straight losses to begin the year. 

Rosemont jumped out to an early lead ten minutes into the game as Senior Madeline Polino scored her second goal of the season on a rebound off of a shot by Sophomore Maciana Mazzeo. After the Giants pulled ahead 2-1, Rosemont tied the game midway through the second half on a pretty cross by  Avery Bramell that Emily Johnston placed into the net for her second goal of the season.

Keystone's Amber Smith scored the go-ahead goal in the 67th minute on a breakaway that found its away to the back of the net. Keystone would add an insurance goal by Hayden Richner, her second of the afternoon. The Ravens mounted several late scoring chances, be were unable to draw any closer.

Rosemont is off until Thursday night when they will host Wesley College at the Complex. The next CSAC game for the Ravens will be next Saturday at Cairn.
