When things were going good for Rosemont's men's soccer team, they were able to tilt the field in their favor.
In the last two losses, the Ravens have seen the pitch tilt against them.
The Ravens were only able to generate three shots on goal Wednesday night while Widener threw 17 shots on goalkeeper
Grant Gonzalez. The end result was a 2-0 Pride win in a non-conference contest at Quick Stadium.
Much like the game against Neumann on Monday night, Rosemont (3-6) was not able to get any kind of offensive attack that really pushed the tempo. Rosemont did have seven corner kicks as opposed to the Pride's 9, but they were really never able to turn them into quality scoring chances.
Widener's Shae Morgan had both Pride goals on the evening- one in the 10th minute off an assist by Logan Musselman that was on a low cross across the box. The second goal of the night came in the 72nd minute when Morgan headed in a free kick from Noah Suba.
Gonzalez was strong in net, making 15 saves on 17 shots on net.
The Ravens travel to Wilson College on Saturday morning for their second game back in the Colonial States Athletic Complex. They return home on Wednesday against Immaculata.
