Saturday got better as things went along. It was still not a good day overall for the Rosemont women's volleyball team, who dropped two 3-0 decisions to host Manhattanville and later in the afternoon against Rutgers-Newark in Purchase, NY.
Manhattanville won the first match- contested at 9 a.m.- by scores of 25-10, 25-6 and 25-10. The afternoon match against Rutgers-Newark went a little better, with the Ravens pushing the limits before falling by scores of 25-22, 25-11 and 27-25.
Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter had 12 kills to lead the way for the Ravens, who return home on Tuesday night against Penn State Schuylkill.
