WBB: Roll continues as Ravens win sixth straight

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - The weather might be chilly outside. But Rosemont's women's basketball team right now is blisteringly hot.

The Ravens made it six wins in a row, nine wins out of the last 10 games and improved to a perfect 5-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with a 75-55 win over Centenary Thursday night in a matchup of two of the top three teams in the CSAC at the early portion of the season.

Four different Ravens finished in double figures in the victory.

KEY MOMENT: As has been the case in their recent victories, Rosemont was able to jump out early and never look back. They outscored the Cyclones by a 22-8 edge in the first quarter and never trailed in the game. Rosemont connected on four 3-pointers in that stretch and 9-of-20 from the floor overall in the first 10 minutes.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:

- Ashley Murray had a team high 15 points and 11 rebounds on 7-for-12 shooting in just 19 minutes of play. (Murray had foul trouble with four fouls on the night.)

-Shirle Brown had 14 points and four steals for the Ravens.

-Shawn Dowd and Ayanna Thompson each had 13 points. Thompson had six assists as well.
