Rosemont, PA- The women's volleyball team took on New Jersey City University on Thursday evening and lost the match 3-0. The Ravens dropped the first set 25-13. The Ravens fell behind early in the first set and were not able to comeback. They battled hard throughout the match, but NJCU had a clear size advantage in their favor.
The Ravens dropped the second set 25-15. The Ravens fell behind 10-2 early on in the second set, but showed great energy and came within 4 points before NJCU went on a run to win the match.
The Ravens got off to a terrific start during the third match to take an early 8-2 lead, but NJCU was able to prevail and win the set 25-16. The Ravens fought hard and played as a team.
Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter had a game high 11 kills.
Alyssa Springer had six kills and 13 assists for the Ravens.
Julianna Capece led both teams with 12 digs.
