Rosemont, PA- It was a chilly Thursday evening for the Rosemont men's soccer conference matchup against Wilson college, but the Ravens (6-7-1, 2-1 CSAC) brought the heat and came out with the win 4-1. This win brings the men's soccer winning streak to three games.
After 40 minutes of play Wilson's Juan Lamy came through with a goal after rebounding off of his own shot to put the Ravens down 1-0. The Ravens came out of the half strong, and were able to tie the score at one just ten minutes into the second half with a goal from
Josh Dawicki, assisted by
Alex Arriola. Two minutes later, a foul led to a penalty kick taken by senior ,
Josh Dawicki. Dawicki was able to execute and scored his second goal of the night to give the Ravens a lead.
The momentum continued in favor of the Ravens with a goal from
Josh Mason in the 65th minute of play assisted by
Alioune Sy. Mason wasn't done there, he sealed the win in the 88th minute with a goal, assisted by
Daniel Hogan.
Senior goal keeper,
Grant Gonzalez, finished the night with five saves.
The Ravens will be back in action on Saturday, October 19th as they hit the road to take on Bryn Athyn College at 3:00 pm.
