Morristown, NJ- It was a close match on Saturday afternoon as the Ravens(4-20, 1-5 CSAC) took on the Eagles of College of Saint Elizabeth (7-8, 3-3 CSAC). Although it was a close match, the Ravens were unable to come out with a win. Set scores were 25-20, 25-23, 25-23.
The Ravens looked solid and took a late lead in the second set, 21-16, but the Eagles tallied four service aces to spark a 9-2 run and secure the set. In the third set, the Ravens once again held a late lead at 22-18. However, the Eagles finished the match-clinching frame on a 7-1 run.
Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter led the way for the Ravens with eight kills, two blocks, and 11 digs.
Alyssa Springer tallied 15 assists, and
J'Nea Jenkins added two blocks on the afternoon.
The Ravens will be back in action at home on Wednesday, October 23rd as they take on Notre Dame of Maryland University at 7:00 pm.
