Northeastern, PA- The women's soccer team took on Keystone College on Saturday afternoon and won 3-1. The Ravens got off to a terrific start as juniorÂ
Maciana Mazzeo scored a goal that was assisted by
Avery Bramell at the 13:18 mark of the first half to give Rosemont a 1-0 lead.
Senior,
Emily Johnston scored a goal a minute later that was assisted by
Lauren Lightcap at the 14:36 mark of the first half to give Rosemont a 2-0 lead.
Maciana Mazzeo scored her second goal of the afternoon at the 33:03 mark to give Rosemont a 3-0 lead. This was Mazzeo ninth goal for the season.  Rosemont was the more aggressive team in the first half and out shot Keystone 8-4.
Coming out of halftime, Rosemont played excellent defense and continued to stay aggressive on offense. Keystone scored a goal at the 75:36 mark to cut Rosemont's lead to 3-1. Rosemont out shot Keystone 18-8 for the game.Â
Rosemont's women's soccer team improves their record to 6-8-1. Next up they face Notre Dame of Maryland University on Thursday, October 31
st at 4:00 pm.
