Rosemont, Pa- The Rosemont Women's volleyball team competed in a tri-match on Saturday afternoon for their "Senior Day" and split the day with one loss against Cairn University and a win against Bryn Mawr College.

The Ravens lost their first matchup to Cairn University 4-1. This was by far one of the most competitive games for the Ravens and the first set proved this statement. Although they lost the first set 25-21 the set was very exciting and well played. In the second set the Ravens came out even better forcing Cairn to call timeout with the Ravens up 15-12. They showed great heart and hustle and would go on to win this set by a score of 25-23. The Ravens struggled in the third set with the Ravens calling a timeout down 15-11. They went on to lose this set 25-21. Senior hitter
Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter finished the match with 20 kills. Those 20 kills gave Naone-Carter the single-season record for kills. Junior
Alyssa Springer, finished the match with a very impressive 29 assists.

The Ravens won their second matchup of the day against Bryn Mawr College 3-2. It was an exciting match with a lot of back in forth action, but the Ravens ended up on top.
Alyssa Springer finished the match with 22 assists putting her over the 1,000 mark for career assists. Naone-Carter tallied 12 kills and
Abigail Brooks finished with 10 kills.

Julianna Capece: Â Julie is a two year member of the women's volleyball team. For her senior year, she moved into the position that carries the most defensive responsibility. Throughout this season, Julie has continued to grow into this role and lead the team defensively. Julie has accumulated 350 digs and 33 service aces over her two year career.

J'Nea Jenkins: Â J'Nea joined the women's volleyball team in her junior year with no prior volleyball experience, but her athleticism was undeniable. J'Nea quickly became a very reliable member of the team. J'Nea has accumulated 38 kills and 15 blocks over her two-year career.

Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter: Naone-Carter has been an essential member of the volleyball team over her 4 year career. As a senior captain Naone-Carter has led her team both on and off the court. Over her career, she has totaled 538 kills making her the all-time leader in kills for women's volleyball. In addition to this, Naone-Carter made another appearance in the record books as number 3 on the all-time digs leaderboard with 742 digs.
