ROSEMONT - The big inning came in a hurry as Wednesday afternoon turned into a chilled early evening on the Main Line.
Unfortunately for Rosemont's softball team, that's when the bats of Cazenovia turned scorching hot and turned a solid effort into a couple of tough losses for the Ravens.
The Wildcats scored 10 runs in the top of the seventh inning to rally from a two-run deficit in that game to post a 14-7 win over the Ravens in the opener. Then in the nightcap, four runs in the first inning proved to be too much in a 13-4, 5 inning win over the Ravens to complete the sweep for the visitors from New York State.
Erin Gallagher went 2 for 4 with two runs scored and two RBIs in Game 1 while
Analisa Yoder had a triple and scored three runs. But Rosemont's bats went silent in the final three innings and that opened the door for the Wildcats to come storming back. The biggest blow in the seventh inning when Hannah Croteau smacked  two-run homer to break the game wde open.
In the nightcap, the Ravens were down 7-0 after two before trying to climb back into the game.
Madison Hagerty homered in the fourth inning to bring Rosemont back to within 9-4, but the Wildcats tacked on two four runs in the fifth to stop the game after that point.
Rosemont (4-12) heads back on the road on Friday afternoon when they travel to Marywood to face the Pacers for a doubleheader. They are back at the Ravens Sports Complex on Saturday to face Cedar Crest in a Colonial States Athletic Conference opener.
