ROSEMONT - Rosemont's women's tennis team continues to show its improvement and strength as Julie Capece, Chase Leonard, Charli Fillmore, Kelly Shaughnessy and Jesse Galvin all took home a singles and a doubles win on Saturday afternoon in an 8-1 victory over Clarks Summit University in the Colonial States Athletic Conference opener at the Ravens Tennis Complex.

The win improved Rosemont's record to 3-3 overall and 1-0 in CSAC. Consider that the three wins are the most for the program since posting a 6-9 mark during the 2013 campaign. Galvin, Leonard and Shaughnessy have been key with that, compiling a combined singles mark of 11-6 mark in their singles matches to this point.

Those five were also joined by Giselle Burley-Ferguson to post a sweep of the doubles matches on Saturday afternoon against the Defenders, who opened their CSAC schedule earlier in the week with a victory against Keystone College.

Rosemont is back in action again on Tuesday when they face Lancaster Bible out west on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. They will travel to Bryn Athyn next Saturday for another CSAC match - this one against the Lions.
