Kelly Shaughnessy improved to 5-2 in singles matches while
Chase Leonard and
Julianna Capece also earned singles wins during Rosemont's 6-3 loss to Lancaster Bible College Tuesday in a non-conference matchup at the Hempfield Recreation Center.
The freshman from Sacred Heart Academy and Upper Darby, Pa defeated Sarah Wetzel by a 6-1, 6-2 margin to win her third straight singles match. Leonard has won four straight singles matches after her 2-6, 7-6 (7-5), 10-6 victory over Haylee Fishel. Capece posted a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Michaela Dearborn for her second straight singles victory.
Rosemont is back in action on Saturday when the Ravens travel to Bryn Athyn to face the Lions in a Colonial States Athletic Conference matchup.
