ORLANDO, Fla. - Rosemont's softball team continued its spring training trip to Central Florida on Tuesday, dropping a pair of games on the next to last day of the trip.
The Ravens lost by a 7-3 margin in the first game of the afternoon to Concordia College of Alabama. In the nightcap, the Ravens fell by an 8-2 score to Houghton College  (N.Y.) to fall to 1-5 on the trip.
In the first game, the Ravens did receive two hits from
Samantha DeFrancisco and
Kaileigh Whalen. DeFrancisco had an RBI double in the first game of the day for the Ravens only extra-base hit on the afternoon. Both DeFrancisco and Whalen have been on base for a lot of the trip, giving the Ravens an offensive boost.
Rosemont will wrap up the trip on Wednesday with two more games with games against New England College (9:15) and Regis College (11:30) before coming home to begin the home portion of the schedule on Sunday- weather permitting- with a doubleheader against Cazenovia College.
