BALTIMORE - Rosemont's women's tennis team continued its push with stellar singles play, sweeping through Notre Dame by a 9-0 margin Tuesday in a Colonial States Athletic Conference matchup in Baltimore.
The Ravens (5-5, 3-1 CSAC) continued its push towards the CSAC Tournament next week with several key players making their own bids for All-CSAC honors in singles.
Julie Capece,
Chase Leonard and
Kelly Shaughnessy all won in straight sets. Combined, those three players have gone 22-7 for the Ravens this season in singles competition. Also winning in straight sets was
Charli Fillmore, Giselle Burley and
Jesse Galvin.
Rosemont's three doubles teams all won by 8-0 margins as well.
The Ravens will celebrate its two seniors- Fillmore and
Aiyannah Eberhart- in its final match at home on Thursday at 3 p.m. against Keystone College.Â
