Julianna Capece,
Chase Leonard,
Charli Fillmore and
Erin Gallashaw all earned singles victories that helped to carry Rosemont to a critical 5-4 victory over Bryn Athyn Saturday morning in a Colonial States Athletic Conference women's tennis match in Lower Moreland.
Capece would win her match at No. 2 singles by a 6-1, 6-3 margin over Nora Connelly. Leonard won her match at No. 3 singles by a 7-5, 6-3 score over Christine Daum. Fillmore was a 6-2, 6-4 winner over Alair Brock at No. 4 singles while Gallashaw was a 6-1, 6-2 winner over Sierra Heinrichs.
The doubles team of
Giselle Burley-Ferguson and Fillmore provided the clincher with an 8-7 (8-6) winner in the second doubles matchup against Alair Brock and Maia Wyncoll.
The Ravens (4-4, 2-0 CSAC) will be back in action on Wednesday when they host Cairn at the Ravens Tennis Complex.
