ROSEMONT - It was the calm before the storm on Wednesday- the final non-conference twinbill before four games that will decide Rosemont's playoff fate. 

And the Ravens flexed some offensive muscle during an offensive onslaught, posting 14-0 and 20-0 wins over York (N.Y.) in a doubleheader at the Ravens Softball Complex.

Rosemont (13-23) was able to post 34 runs on 24 hits, taking advantage of 15 Cardinals errors along the way. Eight members of the Ravens lineup had two or more hits in the twinbill. Kaileigh Whalen had five RBIs while Taylor Carter had four. Analisa Yoder had two triples and a double in the twinbill. The Ravens stole nine bases on the day.

That goes along with some great pitching as well as Carter- trying to preserve the rotation before weekend games against Notre Dame (Md) and Centenary- allowed only three hits and one walk along the way.

Rosemont will play Notre Dame on Thursday in a doubleheader that was moved up to avoid Friday's potential downpour that could cause chaos before the final days of the CSAC regular season take place. There are a ton of scenarios at play, but Rosemont would need to sweep Centenary and have the Cyclones to lose at least one at home  to Keystone (whom is in second place) to have a chance at the post-season.
