BROOKLYN, NY- It was a great evening for the Rosemont Women's Soccer team as they were able to seal their first win against Brooklyn College with a final score of 3-1. It was clear from the start that the Ravens came to win as they took 18 shots compared to only five shots taken by the Bulldogs. The Ravens were able to score their first two goals in only the second minute of play. The first goal game from
Madison Boltersdorf off of a penalty kick.
The Ravens were led by junior,
Maciana Mazzeo, who tabbed two goals on the evening. Mazzeo's first goal came directly after the goal by Boltersdorf. The second goal by Mazzeo came in the 31st minute.
After an outstanding offensive first half for the Ravens, they were able to show off their strengths on the defensive end by not allowing the Bulldogs to score in the second half.
The Ravens will return on Wednesday, September 18th in an away matchup against Delaware State University at 7:00 pm.
