NEW YORK, NY- The women's volleyball team won their first match of the season, 3-1, against The King's College(NY) on Saturday.
The Ravens brought great intensity and won the first set 25-23. They dropped the 2nd set 16-25, but bounced back to win the 3rd set, 25-23. They won the 4th set 25-21.
Senior,
Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter led the team with 16 kills, which tied a career high for her that she set back in 2016 against Cedar Crest. Junior
Alyssa Springer also set a career high with 9 kills beating her previous high of 7 against Pratt in 2018. Sophomore,
Abigail Brooks added 9 kills for the Ravens.
Next up, the Ravens look to bring the same intensity as they go on the road to face Penn State University Schuylkill on Tuesday, September 10th at 6:00pm.
