Box Score Rosemont, PA- The men's basketball team matched up against Cairn University in a Conference matchup on Wednesday night and lost 73-64.

Rosemont took an early 24-14 lead in the first half. The Ravens shot 52% from the field. It was a balanced offense for the Ravens as eight players scored in the first half. Rosemont's bench outscored Cairn 28-16. Rosemont's defense forced Cairn to commit 13 turnovers. Rosemont led 41-34 at halftime.

During the second half, Rosemont had a 47-41 lead, before Cairn went on a 20-6 run. Rosemont would battle back and trail 61-57 with 3:55 left. The Highlanders would make clutch free throws down the stretch to secure the win.

Rosemont forced Cairn to commit 22 turnovers for the game, and had 28 points off of those turnovers. Cairn out rebounded Rosemont 56-28, including 26 offensive rebounds. The Highlanders were efficient from the free throw line shooting 20-24.
Perry Belcher led the Ravens with 16 points and 4 steals. Marlon Sharpton contributed 13 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Zaire Mitchell added 12 points for the Ravens.
 
The men's basketball record is now 6-14, and 3-6 in Conference play. The Ravens will look to bounce back when they face Centenary University in an away matchup on Saturday, February 1^st at 2:00 PM.
