Langhorne, PA- The men's basketball team matched up against #3 seed Cairn University in the CSAC semifinals on Wednesday night losing 84-77.
 
How It Happened

• It was a highly intense game, with the chance to go to the CSAC finals on the line. It started out as a back and forth battle with both teams exchanging buckets.
• Rosemont led 11-10 before the Highlanders went on a 10-0 run to lead by double digits.
• Perry Belcher made a layup to cut the deficit to 21-14. Cairn would go on a 17-7 run to take a 38-21 lead with 1:54 left in the first half.
• Marlon Sharpton made back to back threes, Tyler Morgan made a layup, and Kahleel Henry made a buzzer beater at the end of the half to give Rosemont a 10-2 run to close out the first half.
• Coming out of halftime, the Ravens climbed their way back into the game and the score was tied at 56-56 after a three pointer by Marlon Sharpton.
• Chris Briner made a three to give the Ravens a 64-62 lead with 5:37 left.
• After a layup by Malachi Hall, the Highlanders trailed Rosemont 67-65. Marlon Sharpton made a three to give Rosemont a 70-65 lead with 3:33 left.
• After turnovers and a missed shot by Rosemont, Cairn would get free throws by Julian Collazo, and Malachi Hall going 6-6 from the line giving the Highlanders a 71-70 lead with 2:10 left.
• Chris Briner attacked the basket and got fouled, making both free throws to give Rosemont a 72-71 lead.
• After a timeout by the Ravens, Brennan Addley made a three for Cairn to regain the lead 74-72 with 1:44 left.
• After a missed shot by the Ravens, Cairn would make a layup to go up 76-72. The Highlanders made free throws down the stretch to secure the win.
