Rosemont, PA—The Rosemont Men's Soccer team battled against the Bryn Athyn Lions Wednesday night for a 3-1 victory. The win solidifies their spot at the top of the conference with 13 points.

The goal invigorated the Ravens energy and 30 seconds later FR Clayton Crosse scored the second goal with assist from SO Kaiden Fields, sending both teams into halftime with the Ravens up 2-0.

The second half began and within 3 minutes the Ravens put the match out of reach of the Lions with third goal from FR Clayton Crosse, assist from SO Matthew Pattison. The Lions finally got on the board in the 70th minute with a goal, but the Ravens had already secured the win.

The Ravens defense had a great performance from FR Sean Rodriguez making several stops in front of the net. SO goalkeeper Todd Berman recorded 3 saves in net.

SO Kaiden Fields earned his 11th goal and 4th assist, FR Clayton Crosse earned his 8th and 9th goals, SO Matthew Pattison earned his 4th assist, and FR Robert Foster earned his 2nd assist in the game against Bryn Athyn.
After the match Coach Loiodice said, "I'm really proud of the effort and intensity the boys showed last night. The main goal from day 1 is to win the CSAC and make a run in the National Tournament, so pulling out this win against a tough Byrn Athyn team was a step in that direction.

The Ravens return to action this Saturday (10/16) on the road against Alvernia University at 1:00pm.
