Back as the Top Seed with 7-1 Win over St. Elizabeth

Morristown, NJ—The Rosemont Men's Soccer Team take back the top seed in the CSAC with their dominant win over St. Elizabeth University, 7-1. Before the match, the Ravens were tied with Cairn University with 13 points, but with the 3 points from their win on the road, Rosemont has 16 points and one game in hand over the Highlanders.

The Ravens took the lead early with a goal from SR Captain Will Boehmer with an assist from SO Kaiden Fields in the 7th minute. 8 minute later, FR Clayton Crosse scores his 10th goal of the season in the 14th minute with assist from SR Will Boehmer. SO Kaiden Fields heads his 14th goal of the season into the back of the net in the 26th minute. After the third goal, FR Muhammed Pektas subs into the match for Fields and scores his first career goal for the Ravens in the 33rd minute. Rosemont goes into halftime with a four-goal lead against the Eagles.

Within 43 seconds of the start of the second half, SO Kaiden Fields scores his second goal of the match. A frustrated Eagles defender fouls the Ravens in the box earning himself a red card and a penalty kick for the Ravens. FR Clayton Crosse steps up for the PK, scores, and brings the Ravens lead to 6-0. In the 63rd minute, SO Kaiden Fields earns himself a hattrick, scoring his third goal of the match with an assist from FR Clayton Crosse. The Eagles finally get on the board in the 78th minute when they were awarded a penalty kick.

The Ravens had a stellar performance on the road outshooting St. Elizabeth 27 to 7 and only requiring SO GK Todd Berman to make 4 saves during the match. Here are a few of Wednesday night's match notables:
