Bryn Mawr, PA- The Women's basketball team managed to secure their first victory of the season defeating the Cedar Crest Falcons at home on Saturday afternoon with a final box score of 68-52. The Ravens collectively shot 42 percent from beyond the arc and stellar perimeter defending allowed for the Ravens to hold the opposing team to shoot below 15 percent from beyond the three point line as well as below 30 percent from the field. The Ravens held a 10 point lead approaching the half, but several timely made 3 points by freshman Makaela Frey extended the lead to 18 and inevitably helped to seal the falcons fate. 

Fr Makaela Frey lead all Ravens in scoring with 18 points. 

So Kaylee Alvarez followed up in scoring with 11 points. 

Rosemont will be back in action, Tuesday , Dec 14th against Immaculata University with a 6pm tip-off.
