Rosemont, PA- The Rosemont men's lacrosse team kicked off their season with a six point win after defeating Centenary University(NJ) 12-6.


How it Happened

• Centenary was the first team to get on the scoreboard with Brandon Casey notching his first goal of the game at the 11:45 mark of the first period
• The Ravens followed with their first goal of the game scored by Brandon Krausse to tie the game in the first period
• Rosemont took the lead going into the second period after Stephen McLaughlin scored a goal in the final four seconds of the second period to put the Ravens up 2-1
• The Ravens took over the second period scoring five goals to the Cyclones two goals putting the Ravens up 7-3 going into the half
• Krausse added two more goals in the third quarter along with a goal by Alex Hewitt, assisted by AJ Thompson and another goal by Stephen McLaughlin to put the Ravens up 11-5 going into the final quarter 
• Both teams scored one goal in the fourth quarter to give the Ravens a 12-6 win over the Cyclones
