Softball Splits with Centenary in First Road Game

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Rosemont softball team battled for a doubleheader split with Centenary University on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

The Ravens came up short in game one finishing 5-1. The Ravens used a big first inning to claim an 11-3 win in game two.

Game One
  • Rosemont struck first in this one as Analisa Yoder had an RBI double in the top of the third inning.
  • Centenary responded with three runs of its own in the bottom of the fourth
  • Yoder had two hits and an RBI for Rosemont.
  • Game one ended 5-1 
Game Two 
  •  Rosemont put up 10 runs in the top of the first to grab an early advantage in game two. Rachel Beall had four RBIs in the inning, including a bases clearing double. Emily Bingman added two RBIs in the frame.
  • The Cyclones made it a 10-3 game in the bottom of the fourth as Glinko added her second RBI single of the contest.
  • Rosemont put one more run on the board in the top of the sixth and claimed the 11-3 victory.
  • Beall picked up the win on the mound as she started and did not allow a run. 
  • Beall had two hits and four RBIs for Rosemont.
Up Next
  • The Ravens will be back in action on Saturday, April 17th in an away CSAC matchup against Wilson College at 2:00pm.
