Allentown, PA – The Ravens (3-7) traveled Cedar Crest (3-5) to open conference play in a tri-match between the host and Gallaudet University.  Ravens put up a strong effort at the net and on defense, but the Falcons proved more consistent and swept the Ravens in three straight (25-13, 25-15, 25-15).  The Gallaudet Bison handed the Ravens the second sweep on the day in convincing fashion.  The Bison were dominant in all facets: at the net (30 kills to 12),  38 digs to 26, and with the serve (27 aces to 9).  The Ravens continue with Conference play on Wednesday 10/5 as they travel to Chambersburg to take on Wilson College.
