Philadelphia, PA- The Ravens wrapped up the day with their second win of the season over Penn State Hazleton with a score of 16-3.

Offensively, the Ravens were led by FR 1B Anthony Ranauto with 2 doubles, 2 RBIs, 3 runs, and 1 stolen base. JR 2B Colin McCormick had 1 double, 1hit, 4 RBIs, 2 runs, and 1 stolen base. FR SS Luke Franklin had 1 double, 2 hits, 2 RBIs, 2 runs, and 1 stolen base. FR 3B Brage Davis had 2 hits, 2 RBIs, and 2 steals. FR RF Derek Shillingsford had 1 double and 3 RBIs. JR Jake Meisel came in as a DH and had 1 hit and 2 runs. JR CF Dom Fernicola had 1 hit, 2 steals, and 4 runs. FR C Chris Walton had 3 hits, 1 double, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs.

Defensively, FR P Vinney Mattio, JR P Michael Denton, and FR P Brett Angelillo led the Ravens to another big win only allowing 3 runs collectively. FR P Vinney Mattio started the first inning, throwing 23 pitches, facing 6 batters, earning 2 strike outs, and only allowing 1 hit. JR P Michael Denton came in for the 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th innings, throwing 52 pitches, facing 14 batters, earning 3 strike outs, and only allowing 4 hits and 1 run. FR P Brett Angelillo came in for the 5^th, 6^th, and 7^th inning to throw 56 pitches, facing 14 batters, earning 3 strike outs, and only allowing 2 hits and 2 runs.

Behind the plate, FR C Chris Walton led the Ravens with 8 outs, followed by FR 1B Anthony Ranauto with 6, FR RF Derek Shillingsford with 2, and FR SS Luke Franklin, FR LF Jamen Palladino, FR LF Nick Tanella, JR CF Dom Fernicola, JR 2B Colin McCormick with 1 out each. Franklin and McCormick led with 3 assists each and FR 3B Brage Davis had 1 assist.

After the match, Assistant Coach Martin expressed how happy he was to be a part of this program and to witness these big wins for Rosemont College History. The Ravens successful day can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of Head Coach Ross Trachtenberg who said, "I am extremely proud of our 35 players for the way they have performed in these early season games. There has been a very high level of energy and effort. Today our performance really came together in all phases of the game, and we did a lot of the little things right. I am really happy for each of the guys to experience what it feels like to win at the college level".
