Langhorne, PA – The Rosemont Ravens Women battled back and forth with Conference rivals Cairn Highlanders to notch a big win on Tuesday afternoon at Cairn.  The Ravens jumped out to an early lead but found themselves down by 5 at the half-way mark.  Kalaia Hampton and Angel Ricks led the scoring in the first half, Hampton from the outside and Ricks in the paint.  Alona Stanley and Britney Fils contributed in the second and third quarters to keep the Ravens close.  Fils and Ricks controlled the paint down the stretch and Aalyssa Rogers closed out the final 2 minutes with 9 points.  Ricks and Fils dominated the paint (rebounds, 2^nd chance points, and scoring in the lane),  and Hampton, Rogers and Stanley led the Ravens to 17 fastbreak points.  Final score, Ravens 68, Highlanders 63.    
 
The Ravens continue with Conference play on Thursday 1/5/2023 at home against St. Elizabeth's at 7PM.
