Chambersberg, PA| The Men Traveled to Wilson to Take on The Pheonix on Their Home Turf
How it Happened:
From the start of the match both defenses showed their strengths as for the first 10' Rosemont's defense was tested by a barrage of shots from the Wilson offense.
Gunner Hoffman man two early saves in the 5' which fired up the squad.
Matthew Pattison got the shots started for Rosemont at the 10' mark followed by shots from
Timothy Hall and
Tai Torres. Rosemont would make substitutions in the 25' changing the pace of the game and slowing down the Wilson offense who would only get one shot off the rest of the half. The half would end 0-0, the second half started with a Yellow Card for
Luke Humes as he would be replaced by
John Pepe. Rosemont gave it their all as they doubled Wilson's shot total this half,
Max Hawk would find the back of the net for his first goal of the season in the 73' assisted by Nicholas Lackawiec. Wilson would answer back with a goal of their own in the 77', but Rosemont would take the lead back with a goal from Aidan Sommers in the 82' his first Colligate goal assisted by
Henry Acosta. Rosemont would bring on
Tai Torres and Mathew Pattison at the end of the game to seal the deal as Rosemont wins 2-1.
