Bryn Mawr, PA| The Men took on Bryn Athyn in a Match on the Grey Pitch, it was also Senior Day for the four graduating Seniors.
How it Happened:
Straight from a movie script, senior
Matthew Pattison got the Ravens started 14 seconds into the match as he received a great ball from
Henry Acosta off the kickoff. Henry dotted the pass to Pattison as he flicked the ball over the closing out goalie to take a 1-0 lead. It was back and forth for ten minutes until Sean Millelli made a cross into the box where the goalie came out on the ball as
Matthew Pattison was there to clean it up for his second goal of the game. Also credit to
Lucas Ashley for his insane accuracy on his headers leading to more offensive looks for the team. Coach Loiodice would make changes in the 20' bringing in fresh legs. Timothy Kane would find the back of the net for his first goal of the year in the 27' off a pass from
Shawn-Thomas McConnell. Winding down the first half Rosemont would find the back of the net again as
Henry Anderson got a great ball from
Savien Castro taking a 4-0 lead heading into the half.
The second half was the Mont show as Pattison came back in achieving his hat trick off another great ball from Sean Millelli three minutes into the second half. In the 63' Sean Millelli struck in a laser off a pass from
Lucas Ashley increasing Rosemont's lead to 6-0. Coach Loiodice again would make changes in the 65', taking off Senior
Todd Berman who played a great game allowing no goals and six total saves. This brought in the freshman goalie
Justin Brown, on adjusting to the rainy conditions he only allowed one goal which was the lone goal in the contest. Towards the end of the game in the 85'
Henry Anderson found the back off the net off a pass from "Kofu"
Adedayo Laditan-Adebiyi, making the final score 7-1.
