Bryn Mawr, PA| The Women's Volleyball Team Invited Wilson Down to the Hirsh Community Center for this in Conference Matchup.
How it Happened:
Wilson got off to a good jump, securing the first four points of the match, before Rosemont battled taking back the lead 11-10 credit to a key block by
Pearl Smith. It was back and forth through the rest of the set until Wilson edged ahead at the end winning the first set. The second set was an offensive showing by Rosemont starting the set with three kills on their first five points. Taking a 13-8 lead mid way through the set critical kills by
Madeline McCarthy would shift the momentum back to Rosemont as they closed out the set 25-19, tying up the match 1-1. The third set Wilson would take the first two points before thee girls would go on a 11-1 run leading the set 11-3. The two teams would trade points as they got close to the end of the set Rosemont lead 20-9 before Wilson had a small run, that was shut down ending the set 25-13 for Rosemont giving them a 2-1 lead. The final set was all Rosemont as they went out and took the first point of the set and never gave the lead back, when Wilson tied up the match 7-7 the girls went on a 7-0 taking all momentum and closing out Wilson 25-18 in the forth set winning the match 3-1.
