Bryn Mawr PA| Cedar Crest Traveled to Rosemont to Play in the last Home Regular Season Contest Host by the Lady Raven in the Hirsh Community Center, it was also Senior Day for the four Graduating Seniors.
How it Happened:
In a fantastic Senior Day decorated gym for the four graduating Seniors Allison Creedan, Kara Green, Evora Kiawi, and Racheal Beal. Senior Crest five graduating seniors were also honored before the game.
The first set opened up with some back and forth with a great kill coming off the injury for Rachel Beall. Cedar Crest would catch fire raddling off nine straight points to open up the set 12-3. The lady Ravens would battle back with a 5 point run of their own bringing the score 14-9 midway through the first set, continuing the battle they would close the Cedar Crest lead to four points (16-12) but Cedar Crest would edge out the first set as the two teams battled finishing the set 25-20 for Cedar Crest.
The second set Rosemont came out hot taking an early 3-1 lead but Cedar Crest being the #1 they are battled tying the set back up ealry 7-7. Cedar Crest would catch a groove extending the lead to 15-10. The girls would continue to battle as they brought the score back within two (18-16), but Cedar Crest again would edge out the set 25-18.
The third set Cedar crest would come out hot taking a 10-4 lead before Rosemont fought back tying the game at 10 with a six point run of their own, Cedar Crest put a stop to the run as they got out to a 20-12 lead and closed out the set 25-15.
What's Next:
Women's Volleyball will play their final game of the season as they travel to Notre Dame of Maryland to play at 6pm on Halloween Oct. 31st.
