Rosemont, PA Men's Soccer hosted Saint Elizabeth in the United East Skye Division Championship at the Rosemont Athletic Complex Wednesday November 1st. The Ravens advanced after full-time, an overtime, and penalty kicks beating the Eagles 3-0.
The Ravens played a strong first half having possession for the majority of the time and 6 total shots, while the Eagles would not concede a goal. Rosemont out shot the Eagles in the second half 19-2,
Aiden Sommers , had two shots hit the crossbar just missing along with
Clayton Crosse and
Justin Thomas just missing the net.
After Full-time, the Ravens and Eagles headed to overtime where it was a hard fought 20 minutes ending in a stalemate. The Skye Division Championship headed to Penalty Kicks, where
Gunner Hoffman kept the Eagles out of goal and Sean Millelli and
Tai Torres made their shots. The freshman
Tim Kane drilled the game ending penalty kick sending the Ravens to the United East Crossover Championship vs. St. Mary's College of Maryland, this Saturday, November 4 @1pm, at the Rosemont Athletic Complex. Gates will open at 12:15 PM.
