Bryn Mawr, PA| Wilson's Women's Basketball team Traveled Down to Rosemont College to Play in a Game that took place in Alumnae Hall.
How it Happened:
Rosemont came out of the gate hot as
Danaijah Wise grabbed the first two points of the game with a short jumper to give the Ravens an early lead. The girls would mount a 9-2 lead in the first two minutes of the game, Wilson would battle making a run of their own taking the lead 14-13.
Mojisola Shokeye regained the lead for the Ravens with a jumper of her own as they held onto the lead through the first quarter ending 21-19. The second quarter was all Wilson as the Rosemont girls shot only 2-14 from the field in the second quarter. Wilson would win the scoring differential by 20 in the second, taking an 18 point lead at the half. The 3rd quarter Wilson also kept up their defensive intensity as the won the third quarter by 15 extending their lead to 35 at the end of the third. Rosemont kept their heads up and stayed in the fight,
Myliah Shorter had a great fourth quarter incluing shooting 7-9 from the field and having a game leading 11 rebounds. Wilson would win the game 80-49, Rosemont was led my
Mojisola Shokeye with 22 points followed by Myliah "love" Shorter with 14.Â
